[SOLVED]
Hi,

Firstly: I'm pretty clueless when it comes to website admin so please bear with me while I try fumble around explaining what's happened...

so... I'm aware there's been a migration from cPanel to DirectAdmin and at some point over the festive break between 20th dec and 6th jan my website has become inaccessible. Its basically a booking calendar for equipment in my project team.

It was normally accessible via http://pollardlab.x10host.com/booked/Web/
but now i get an error 500 message
"This page isn’t working
pollardlab.x10host.com
is currently unable to handle this request.

HTTP ERROR 500"

When I log in to cpanel I get redirected to DirectAdmin and the address it redirects me to is:
https://x12.x10hosting.com:2222/user/domains
From DirectAdmin I can see all the folders of my website booking system, including the \booked\Web folders, but they now appear to be under the \public_html folder
e.g. \public_html\booked\Web\
(I have no idea if it used to be like this... sorry)

I'm wondering if anyone can tell me if this is just a temporary issue while accounts are migrated or, if not, if someone is able to help me work out how to fix it?
Any help would be massively appreciated :)

cheers!

Daniel

[SOLVED]
the solution was to go to directadmin, hover over 'extra features' and select <select php version> then change the php version to v7.1

hmmmmm.... weird.
Thank you for replying! It seems that since the migration my website no longer works in Chrome browser.
I've no idea why but i'll let my team know they can still access the site from their phone and other web browsers.
Much appreciated! :)

ahhhh... no.
Seems its still broken.
The error only appears after you successfully log in to that landing page. Looks like my Chrome browser was auto-filling and logging in as soon as I landed on that page.
I have a test account someone could try?
username "test"
password "test"

i checked again and got a blank page,

thanks again out here.
sorry for being so dense but i'm totally unfamiliar with all this.
can you tell me how to check my PhP version and how to reset to default?
I haven't changed anything...this all happened as a result of the migration.

OK - sorry again.
I'm not only dense but lazy too, it seems ;)
I founds the "switch PhP version" option in directadmin and managed to get the site working again.
for some reason only version 7.1 works, not 5.6, not 7.0, not 7.2 or 7.3...only 7.1.
But at least everything is now working again.

thanks a million for your help. I'd have been stuck forever without it.
so next: is there a way to mark this post as [solved]?
