Hi all.

Description:
As of today my website has stopped displaying anything (besides the 500 error). Including the site, cpanel, phpmyadmin, etc.
However, Dreamweaver believes that it can still upload files through ftp.

My question:
I've been trying to work with php, and it's thrown a few errors up.
Is Error 500 something my php is breaking, or something that happened to another part of the server?

Any suggestions are appreciated!

Thanks,
BBX

I have the same problem, my website doesn't work but I can access via FTP to the server.

I think it's because they are still in maintenance. I never had problems before and now I'm getting those errors too. We just have to wait :/

Hm, unfortunate timing. My website is due for a regional competition.

I'll keep refreshing through today and see if it changes.

<edit>
Weird, I just re-typed the URL, and my site came up, but then cpanel didn't. And when I went back, the site gave me the 500 error code again....

I don't remember PHP ever giving a 500 error.
Perl, yes.
.htaccess errors, yes.
Especially if it is intermittent, it is almost always a server problem.

Ok,

If it's not PHP making the error, what can I do to fix it?

I've tried email the address on the error page, but it just gets returned.

I think you're right. I've also never had issues like this before and it's been going on (on and off) for about a week now. Patience is all we have until they are done. I'm sure it's a massive undertaking and I'd rather they take the time to do it right then rush thru and we have additional issues going forward.
