error 500 problem

Hello,

I have bring a WordPress blog online past 2 weeks. Today, I got the error #500, it can't connect to the mysql database. Strangly, I just go to the cpanel and put all privilege for user of my database then it came good and the go alive normaly. This is the second time this week and I still don't how privilige of a user can change without changing it in cpanel ??? Is it a cpanel problem, a protection, a problem in my wordpress blog or somthing ???

The Admins have been doing work on the mySQL server. When they do, it has the unfortunate byproduct of dropping the permissions.
