error 500 server down

the server went down while i was sorting some url redirects, now i can only get into the back end of the site but cannot view anything via the client. Please can you help as i am meant to have hundreds of people viewing my site from tomorrow morning!

"sorting some url redirects" sounds like something might have messed up your .htaccess file.

Try posting it here to see if we can spot a problem. In the short term, try renaming it (do not delete it) to .htaccessBAK to see if that stops the 500 errors
