Hello,

i am running Piwigo 2.7.4 on your server, when i try to synchronise new images to the site i get the following error.

Error 503 Backend fetch failed
Backend fetch failed

XID: 4660717

however i have noticed that even if there are no new images, i still get the same error. could this be caused by the number of images it has to scan? how do i change the time-out before the error shows
T=15.18 BST

Hi John,

This usually indicates that the PHP script failed to return a response in 30 seconds. I'm not familiar with how Piwigo works, but what is it trying to do exactly when synchronizing new images? Is it trying to connect to an external source, perhaps? :)

Thank you,

Hi Dead-i

There is a folder in the root of the server where images are stored (public_html/galleries) all the script does from what i can tell is search for new images, collects data like size, and exif data and it to an sql database.

but i am wondering if its taking longer than 30 seconds because of the number of images.
