Error adding addon domain

I am using 0 out of 2 addon domains allowed for hosting. But when i try to add a addon domain i still get the following error:
"You have exceeded the maximum allowed subdomains."


Can anyone help please.

Hi,

Addon domains automatically create a new associated subdomain, due to the way addon domains work. Therefore, you will need at least one free subdomain to be able to create an addon domain. You might want to consider using parked domains instead, or removing a subdomain.
