I received the error message below attempting to add an email forwarder. I have verified my quote is below the limit.

On our free hosting service, we have a hard file limit set on the server to prevent abuse, which is capped at 50,000 files. It appears that your account has exceeded this limit, at approximately 51,000 files, which is why you are receiving this error message. Are you able to remove some unused files from your account?
