Hi.

I am trying to change my domain from xeniacentral.x10.bz to xeniacentral.com

But I get the error code C085843B. In my domain page (where I bought it) the servers have been changed to ns1.x10hosting.com and ns2.x10hosting.com

Any help will be greatly appreciated as I've been trying to make this work for several days now. Thanks.

Hello!
Your dot com domain is working fine for me.
Usually, this is a temporary problem and should get resolved on its own.

First of all, thanks for replying.

Now, I know that when I enter the .com domain it shows what I have on x10.bz But the thing is in the address bar it changes to x10.bz and I want it to stay at .com

Correct me if I am wrong, but I understand you said this will be resolved on its own and eventually it will be only seen as .com?

Again, thanks.

I couldn't find any URL redirects there.Could you please post the links ?
Did you ever add that .com as a parked domain in your cPanel ?

I am going to verify the Parked Domain thing and add it if I haven't done it while you read this.

The links are: www.xeniacentral.x10.bz and www.xeniacentral.com

I am new doing this and I am learning as I go. If there's anything else I should do, please let me know.

EDIT: xeniacentral.com is already added in Parked Domain.

Okay, before I proceed any further I would like to know: which domain are you intending to use as your main domain ?

The domain I want to use is www.xeniacentral.com

I already tried to change my main domain, but I get the error that I opened this thread with. Where I bought the domain, I already changed the nameservers and that seems to be working fine.

Should I remove xeniacentral.com from Park Domains? It was already there when you asked.

Thanks.

Ideally,it shouldn't be there and probably that's what's causing this problem.
Try removing that dotcom domain from the parked domain list.

Ok, I removed the .com domain from the Parked Domains section. IDK if this change should show instantly or if it takes a while, but right now, I still have the same issue.

If there's anything else I should know or do, let me know. I am going to bed in a little bit (it's 1:20am here) and I will check back tomorrow to continue with this, if necessary.

Thanks so much for your help and have a great night.

For those following this in search for a response: I went ahead and added again the .com domain to my Parked Domains section and removed it right away. This made that my Account Management thing will NOT show the .com domain as a Parked Domain anymore. That got resolved.

I went ahead and tried to change my main domain again, from x10.bz to .com and it gave me the error. However, there was a previous attempt showing as "Executing". My guess is that no matter if it's showing an error in the beginning, it will eventually do it.

Everything is working just fine right now: the domain stays at .com
