error connecting to database...

Hi,

I am now getting the following error when I access my site.

Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (111) in /home/pmcmur/public_html/login.php on line 28
Error connecting to database.

Can anyone help please?

Your server absolut is migrating to new server fris. Looks like this error is related to that.

Is there any estimate as to when the server will be back up? It has been down for a few hours now.
