AFter install my new site I have been trying to upload and install a new theme but keep getting the same error in the Joomla admin

ERROR: Could not find a Joomla! XML setup file in the package

I have read in a few of the joomla forum post that some have switch back to php 5.1 and have solved the problem.

That is an error with the mod/theme, and should be fixed by the author of it.

Also, it isn't possible to downgrade to php 5.1
