Error establishing a database connection - newton05.x10hosting.com

I am new to this site.
I have installed wordpress mu.
I was able to put in my database name/password and the local host as localhost but this is the error message I received afterwards - I am pretty sure that I typed in the correct one.
"Error establishing a database connection"
Please help me.

Please go to the cPanel and link your user with your database with all permissions.

Note. Wordpress MU takes a lot of resource usage if you have many users, also you cannot use the subdomain function on it

Yes sir. I have tried it twice to be sure,and its doing the same thing still - error establishing a database connection. I will try to check this out later if it will improve. I am hoping my site will be up. I am a newbie to this. I have seen tutorials on youtube and followed it.

Are you typing the database and user names correctly? newton05_user and newton05_database ?

@Derek - Yes sir. Should I uninstall wordpress and reinstall it?
I checked my site and its the same - Error establishing a database connection.

I suggest you use wordpress 3.0 because wordpress MU is going to be retired soon and 3.0 has MU features in it. Please let me know how the install goes. http://wordpress.org/development/2010/04/wordpress-3-0-beta-1/
