Error establishing a database connection

Hi, I would like to know if the error message I get as in the title is directly connected to the server upgrade. Because I don't know what else went wrong as I haven't change anything in my database configuration. If it do has anything to the server upgrade, when would things get to normal then. I would appreciate your reply on this matter. Thank you.

Edit the wp-config.php file in public_html folder. Change Host to localhost.
