Error in MySQL PHPMyAdmin

yesterday it was working fine... now i am getting this error when i try to access my mysql database through cpanel plesse help me...
phpMyAdmin - Error
#2002 - The server is not responding (or the local MySQL server's socket is not correctly configured)
