Error: Message 406?

Hi,
When I try to attach a picture onto my site's forum, I keep on getting this message saying "ERROR 406" and it won't let me upload any pictures.

because of this problem, I have upgraded my site's php version to Intermediate but it doesn't seem to solve this problem.

does anyone know what this is?

I think one of our staff dealt with this recently but I'm not sure the outcome. Can you check the error log in your cPanel and see if it gives you a more specific error about this?
