Error Message on my site

im getting a message when i try and visit the site saying : error establishing a database connection.

the site is called:

im not sure. my friend deals with that kind of stuff. what is wrong with the site?

It is likely that he is using the wrong details to connect to MySQL.

MySQL details:

Host: localhost
User: [You need to make a MySQL user in cPanel]
Pass: [Password for above user]

Can you get your friend to post the details here, otherwise I can't tell you how to fix it.

i just spoke to my friend. he said the MySQL is not the problem, because it always worked before. it hasnt been changed or anything. the site was working fine until about 4pm yesterday.

What is the cPanel username of the account?

the cPanel username of the account is: sjw

Fixed it. The MySQL user you were using did not exist.
