Error while adding Addon domain

Hi Support,

I am getting this error while trying to add an add-on domain. "Error from park wrapper: rkbosamiya.com is already configured".

I created my account while u guys had lotus (server) up however as u guys were shifting to new server (fris) I had to temporarily shift my domain to another host so I deleted the addon domain i.e. rkbosamiya.com under addon domain not knowing that deleting addon domain was not required webhost and simply change of name server at my registrar's end would have shifted the domain to that host .Now when I try to shift back onto your new server by trying to create "rkbosamiya.com" as an addon domain it gives the above error. I deleted the corresponding rkbosamiya.com folder under public_html but still it will not let me create the addon domain.

The problem I am facing is very similar to the issue discussed in the link below.

I do not have any sub-domains or add-on domains created under my account so as discussed in the link, in all probability you guys need to delete the DNS or what ever u think is right to get this working again since I had changed name servers while the guy in the link did not.

Morever when I tried to visit the original sub-domain i.e.http://rkglobal.x10hosting.com/ it gives me a suspended page error.

Kindly resolve the two issues at the earliest. I would be eagerly awaiting for your mail.

Hy,

Almost 10 hrs but still no reply. Same as with my previous post though that was understandable. That's ridiculous.Still awaiting a resolution, any body ?

The admins are doing maintenance on the servers which includes fixing additional domain problems (subdomains, addons, and parked domains)
I'd wait until the maintenance is done. See http://status.x10hosting.com/ for more info.

I understand that but any specific time frame when they are gonna finish up with the maintenance. It been over a week since new server been running.

Atleast support exec could ascertain as to where is the actual problem. Is it due to your upgrading drive or is it that you guys need to refresh/remove old DNS entry.

I request you guys to look into this and I believe it really shouldn't take much time.

They are working to fix a number of problems, DNS included.
No ETA is available.

My only request is to remove the DNS entry nothing much which really won't take much long and will solve the problem only if u really guys want to rather than encouraging or waiting [not user though] users to sign up for paid service.

I believe offering free hosting is much more than community service. Infact as i see it, it is very profitable to you guys in terms of traffic, advertisement and many things. So in a sense the service and support needs to be much better rather than a 15 day downtime which in any form is condemnable.

No ETA is available.

If no ETA is available, atleast keep posted on the status probably couple of times a day. It really won't take much effort to post couple of lines a day. Yeah I am very disappointed atleast this has changed my perception abt x10 a bit.
