You do have to wait in line one day. I took a week for me to get my account. But im happy now. Are you saying you need a instant, if thats the case they are quick and no waiting to be picked out of a hat.

No i dont want instant. advanced is the perfect plan for what i need.

Yeah i will wait until midnight wondering all night long if i "won" then finding out i need to try again.

I think the old signup system was better since everyone needed a REASON why they needed hosting, and all of the accounts were filtered, not just taken out of a hat!!

I havent fully checked out the new sign up for that.
If you keept your account it would of been easyer though.
Id say try signing up for instant get your site up, then upgrade later.
Becuse its only like a few more mysql's and bandwith etc

I was previously told that i could not upgrade instant to a free

The_Endless, thats regardless. He has said numerous times the account has gotten deleted. All we are are two people that would like some "sympathy" for our problems. No recommendations for the instant accounts that are pretty much useless.

This is not a problem, its a signup system that is put in place to stop the wrong people signing up.
Not saying your the worng people but all members here had to wait, to get there account.
If you dont want to wait, you dont get account or go with instant.

I know this is hard as you just want to start with your new site etc.

If the signup system deleted your account you need to re-apply the next 24 hours
and keep trying.
