Errors sending from email

As my last thread got closed without being resolved I have opened another with some updates.

I am still getting this error when sending an email from the control panel.

SMTP error (-1) connection to server failed.

Using phpmail function on my site works to Yahoo and Gmail but to Hotmail this does not work.

If you could sort out hotmail that would be great as it is the main email provider most people use.

I don't know what you did, but it is now the opposite. Cpanel mail sending to all apart from hotmail and my site is sending out no messages. (No changes have been made by me)

both working now but just hotmail not receiving from both..

Check your spam folder with Hotmail.

No that wasn't it, but I have now figured it out. Hotmail blocks all mails from .x10.bz, so I sadded my email address I created in cp to the allowed list in hotmail and it worked straight away.
