Of course there are ways of determining the limits of your computer and what hardware would be safe for your motherboard. www.esupport.com is another website you may go to for your computer's hardware information plus possible upgrade of your BIOS. In other words, if your BIOS seems out of date, a clean upgrade is important. What I mean by a clean upgrade is making sure you're not running an updater which would trash your BIOS forever.

But here, eSupport can run an ActiveX control (BIOS Agent Scan) that will look into your computer and give your system information and maybe its recommendations. After your results are revealed, post it here!

Maximum memory - 2048?! That's HORRIBLE! You should be able to fill up your slots with 2 gig chips. *shakes head* the mother board I will buy has 4 slots, 2 gig capability each.

o.o Umm...hello? This is a BIOS thing and I posted about my MOTHERBOARD. I'm going to write a PM to the admin turning myself in for spamming right now, and we'll see if I'm "spamming".

Let the admin smell spam.

Now where is your post about the BIOS? Were you spamming?

I'm pretty sure he was referring to the OP, which is suspiciously like an advertisement (even though it's probably not, judging by his previous posts).
