Executable for download

I would like to know if it is allowed to put executable files for download in my site. They are not pirate programs, I have some programs my authory.

If they are legally yours to redistribute (written permission from the author or within the EULA of said software, or for that matter if you're the creator of the program), it'd be fine, but do make sure you -do- have the redistribution rights for the software. It is possible to own software but not have redistribution rights for it.
