explanation?

every time i post a thread about a server being down i get an admin response to the effect of "we know the server is down". Is it so much to ask why its down? Im not complaining that the server is down or demanding that you bring it online. I just want a simple answer along the lines of "Hey server is acting wonky might be down sporadically throughout the day" or "installing new software" anything besides the "we know its down thanks for asking"

Typically we don't communicate the reason for a outage to all the staff.
Normally it is just a simple apache crash and it just needs to be restarted.
