External DNS/nameservers

On the free account I noticed that in order to use your own domain, you must use x10hosting nameservers/DNS.

Is there a way for me to use my own external DNS on either a free or pay account here?

You don't have to use x10's nameservers.

You can set them to any nameservers and then set the A record to 198.91.81.3 (level.x10hosting.com ,where your account is located).

But be advised that they sometime have to change the IP of the free servers, so you would have to manually change the A records of the nameservers you use if they aren't x10's.

I did as you said and now get the Defaultwebpage.cgi page but the wiki says to wait 24-48 hours when you see that. So I will report back then.
