On the login form, what's the blank yellow "message" box? Usually, that's hidden unless there really is a message.

Hi.

I think it would be of benefit to add that description you gave of your forum in the opening post somewhere on your blog where a guest may quickly see it. I am sure he can figure out the purpose of the blog by scanning several articles, but making the purpose more apparent may be of benefit to agenda-driven guests with a short attention span. Perhaps the message may be wedged between the search bar and the search terms cloud?

Also, it would be neat if that background image around your header could blend into the rest of the background area.
