Fatal error: Call to undefined function imagettftext() in...

I checked the similar thread to this and the php request @ news and announcement, I was wondering when you will fix this problem? I don't want bots spamming my e-mail address.

If you're in Basic PHP Configuration (v1), consider upgrading to Intermediate PHP Configuration (v2).

That can solve your problem.

The FreeType library is not installed on V1 and V2, no idea about V3. You will have to live without, or find a different way to achieve your goal.

GD2 is not installed in V2. But, GD1 is available, i think...

It is true that GD is installed, it requires the freetype library to support truetype fonts, though.

And please don't get me wrong, I am not complaining, just pointing out the facts so he wont try it when it's clearly not possible.
