I upgraded my php to Intermediate in an effort to get rid of this error (which was what the support in the forums told me to do). About 2 hours ago my site was finished with the upgrade yet I'm still receiving the error: Fatal error: SUHOSIN - Use of eval is forbidden by configuration in /home/gratzkul/public_html/Forums/includes/functions_module.php(328) : eval()'d code on line 328 when trying to access my admin cp and periodically when I try to login/view posts/make posts/etc.

Did the upgrade go through successfully or is there anything else I need to to do finish the upgrade?

Oh, and sorry for making a new topic I saw there was one below this however when I tried to post in it, it said I did not have the proper permissions to do so.

Thanks for the help!

I re-uploaded the forums but I still get the error. I can get to the re-authentication before entering the Admin CP however when then I click on 'Proceed to the ACP' or just wait a few seconds the error comes up again preventing me from entering it.

Is there something I missed?

The error will periodically come up for different codes when I try to access things like viewing posts/creating posts/logging in/etc, but clicking the back button and trying again fixes it. Unfortunately it did not fix the access error I'm getting for the ACP.

Yes, I upgraded to Intermediate PHP Configuration from Basic PHP Configuration. I got the email saying it was updated successfully to version 2. Unless there is another configuration I'm unaware of...

Sorry if I sound lost, I am. I know html and limited css. Making forums, let alone setting them up is a whole new avenue for me - which is why I decided to go with phpbb3.

Everything for the forums has worked as it should up until I try to access the ACP or UCP. That is where I have not been able to get around the error.

Thanks again for the help!

I did all of that (completely removed and reinstalled phpbb3 twice) and I'm still coming up with the error for the eval function being forbidden, is there a way to verify that my update to intermediate php config was indeed successful or should I upgrade again to Advanced(version 3) in an effort to fix the issue?

Thanks

"Yes, I upgraded to Intermediate PHP Configuration from Basic PHP Configuration. I got the email saying it was updated successfully to version 2. Unless there is another configuration I'm unaware of..."

There is no way you received the email saying it was upgraded. The script hasn't run since 6pm until I forced it to momentarily ago. Can you forward that 'email' to Bryon@x10Hosting.com?

You submitted your upgrade request at 6:30 CST. It updates every six hours, 12am, 6am, 12pm, 6pm.

It's not hard to figure out when it will work and why it wasn't working yet. If you read what was told to you numerous times, there would have been no confusion.

I forwarded the email in question, I hope it clears up why I am still getting the 'Eval forbidden error'. It sounds like I received the update being successful email a bit too early by the times you've posted.

Like I stated earlier, working with forums and php is brand new to me... I'm sorry for any frustration it has caused but I'm still very confused.

Thanks for the help.

That is the correct email that you were sent. Something is wrong and it should not have been sent. Either way, you are upgraded now.

Alright, it appears to be working now. I can access everything.

I really appreciate the help!

Found the problem. Looks like the firewall is killing the script when it uses a high amount of server resources. It makes the changes, emails the user, then gets killed. It never had a chance to save the changes to the file.
