Females in the coding industry

Heya!

I got a good question for everyone who programs on any site, have you noticed not many of females do programming/coding on the internet? I mean like young woman like me (I'm 17 turning 18), and neurodivergent woman like me (I'm autistic).

Do you know any woman that are programming?

There are many now a days.

I guess you can say that, but I've seen more guys doing coding/programming than girls like me.

In my opinion the biggest reason is lack of interest. That does not mean there are no females interested in programming, simply that the gender ratio is more men.

You're right I will. This is just a nostalgia trip for me because I had an x10 hosting account 10 years ago when I was a kid and I made my first coding attempts on it.
