Hello

File Hosting Every file on your site must have to do with the website you put up

What does this mean exactly?

- Suppose that a site is about some development application, and that users can download it from the site. So the app "have to do with the website". For instance the application is a zip file with 200 Mb. Is that ok to host the file on x10?

- Now suppose it's an art gallery, with 200Mb in images. Is that ok to host all images on x10?

Cheers

Both examples you posted about are okay and don't fit the file hosting rule. You don't have to worry there.

Now if you are just storing scripts without it being part of your site, or you have a public uploader on your site without restricting it from the public and/or it has nothing to do with a site, then it is deemed a violation of file hosting rule.

Quick note in the case of archives - you must have the rights to redist each file in the archive, or it's a violation of copyright and considered copyright infringement.

Chances are you'd be fine if it's your images/your files :)
