File limit for paid hosting plans?

Hi, I know that hostgator has a 250K Inode limit (or is it 150K). Each file makes one Inode, are there any kinds of limits like this on paid hosting for how many files or how much space can be used and what are the limits?

Hello,

Our inode limit is 300,000. There is no limit to the space that those files use.

Quick note, after 75,000 x10's 6 hour backups will stop backing your site up. You can still do your own obviously, but the automatic x10-controlled ones stop. That's in the TOS too.
