I'm want to delete some files and it tells me that I don't have permission. How can I go about cleaning up my files? Please help me send me a email at revealingtheirlies@mail.com

Sorry I'm new here and didn't relize that I was posting question on forum. I started out badly and would like to delete all files and start all over again I tried deleting them manually and when reloaded files are back Please Help

If you have "zombie files" than you cannot remove, try this.

cPanel --> File Manager OR FTP onto your account.
Go to public_html
Go up one directory level
Note the permissions of public_html
Change the permissions to 0777
Go down to public_html
Remove the files/directories you want
Go back up one level
Restore the permissions to public_html

Generally, public_html should be set to 0750. Other directories should be set to 0755 and files set to 0644.

For some reason, some installers mess up the permissions or ownership so the directories and files they install can be hard to remove.
