File Permissions - Urgent

Hi.

The file permissions of my .txt files within main public_html keep have changed to 000
for some reason which means part of my site is not working.

I have tried to change permissions to 666 via FTP but cannot.

I've logged into Cpanel and changed OK ....... BUT........when i log-out and check, they
have reverted back to 000

can u help please?

I have just tested my script but it's not working. I've gone into cpanel and the .txt files
have again reverted back to 000

Might be something wrong with your script?
What type of script it is?

the base script is an FFA

What I'll do is delete the script and then try loading again.....will let u know wot happens in a few minutes.

I deleted and re-loaded but file perms still showing as 000
Tried to change but keep reverting back again......

Perhaps something to do with my .htaccess file ????
although looks ok but maybe need to add some text ????

I have now set up a seperate folder with the same script and done a 'php include' and all appears
to be working !

I'll keep this going for 24 hours or so and if any further probs will let you know.

Ok,

I've seen this before, the system seems to lock the files at 000, I've spent a few hours on another care. If worse comes to worse we can try making another account and transfering everything over to see if that fixes it.
