I can't quite figure it out but after I screwed up installing a mod for phpbb(I had a backup) I restored it through cpanel and now I use 70 more megs of space. Also, a newbie question, do you usually edit the www directory or public_html?
Thanks.

Are there files present from before the backup?
It might also be that the backup file is 70mb if you uploaded it and never deleted it.

Both folders are the same. www is just a link to the public_html folder.

Wait... so when you restore your backup on cpanel does it actually delete the old files that are screwed up?

I'm not really sure if it overwrites files or if you have to delete them first.
Try it, you can restore the backup from cPanel.
It doesn't edit the folder, it just unpack/unzip the files.
