hi,
I uploaded a number of wmv (windows media video) files to the website, yet they do not work. I investigated using cPanel's file manager and found that it has the files listed as file type text/x-generic. I have had this problem with some jpg images and found that some of them had a JPG extension and changing them to lowercase fixed it. This is not the case with my videos, however, as they all have a lowercase wmv extension.
I uploaded these via FTP which should be the safest way. Oh, by the way, the url is
http://www.jbproductions.pcriot.com
its a little silly, but it is a school project
Why is cPanel not recognizing these videos!
