File update failed

Hello.

My name is Diana and I would appreciate your support on the following matter:
I have a website dianabuzila.x10hosting.com and last week I uploaded new files, in order to update information on some pages (more specifically replaced one of the pages in order to create a guestbook in php). However, this information has never been updated and today, when i logged in again, I noticed that on my www file manager, the old files were placed. I deleted the old files (.html's) again and uploaded the new ones. However, it seems that these files have yet not been updated online and my website looks the same.
Can you please help? Why did the old files appear on the server? How can I update my webpage? It's an important homework for college.

Which cPanel URL you are using to access cPanel?

Get the correct link of cPanel by following this method.
Go to https://x10hosting.com/control/login.php and login with forums username and password. Then Click on "View Details" right after your cPanel Name on the main page.

The details of your hosting account are shown on this page. Click on "Login to cPanel" button.
