Filezilla login issue

I have tried many combinations for logging into my ftp through filezilla.
I finally got one of them to work but there is no public_html file to upload my mybb forum to it.
I decided to create a public_html file and upload the files to that.
It didn't work..I am not sure if I am connecting to the right ftp information...Help please?

Your website seems to be loading for me, except you have a public_html folder within the public_html folder. Your MyBB files are found inside this public_html folder.

What do you see when you view your website? You may see the blue default page. If so, please clear your browser and DNS cache.

Remove the public_html folder you created as it appears to be created within another public_html folder. Then upload your MyBB files into the root public_html.
