FireFox Extensions

Got any good ones you recommend?
Discuss the good extensions, and the bad.

Adblock Plus, No Script, Cookie Safe are a must have.

I also like Download Statusbar. Very helpful if you download a lot.

Cooliris Preview & Firefox Showcase are good too, though I don't use them much. Showcase is good for closing a lot of tabs at the same time.
I like Tab Mix Plus. It has a lot of good features that enhance use of tabs.

Mostly 'basic' extensions. Since I don't really need anything else.


I'm looking for a good rss feed extension. I've tried some of the popular ones some time ago, but I didn't like them because they had a bar at the top (I don't like extra bars at the top. Take up screen space), I didn't like the interface, or it took up too much space at the very bottom bar. (I already have a lot of junk at the bottom with the extensions I use now.)

Downthemall is a good download manager, Foxtunes allows you to play music within firefox without opening any player. Chatzilla allows you to chat on IRC. and Mcafee Site advisor advises you on the sites visited.

The bests ones are :

FEBE : You can backup all your extensions on a file, if for example you uninstall Mozilla and you reinstall it, with one click you can add all you extensions.
Session Manager : If you close Mozilla per inadvertence it save automatically your last session with all the opened tabs!
IE Tab : You can permit the same website, i nthe same window under Mozilla and Internet Explorer!

I like Firebug. It lets you view and edit the HTML, CSS, Script, and DOM of a page and "experiment" with it.

FireFTP is good.

And after I got Adblock plus, I have never seen an ad since.

Also DisableBackspaceNavigation is good if you often use the backspace key for mistakes, and you find that the browser went back a page.

Downloads in Tab is good for people who don't like the popup window for downloads.
