An interesting survey.

Althought, it is an analysis of installed fonts on Windows systems. Not a very good indicator of what fonts will be installed on all systems visiting websites. I use Verdana/Tahoma because I know it's a standard font on all Windows/Mac/Linux installations, so my site will look the same on most platforms.

Still interesting non-the-less.

i always use verdana when using text on my site, but when adding text to pics i use pixel or square fonts with stroke

Arial is like a default setting in most windows whatever software i use when comes to text editing " arial fontsize:10 and in black " no wonder its popular
