Forgot cpanel username

I can't login to cpanel with what I thought to be the correct login credentials. I think I am getting the username wrong.

make sure you are logging on at https://x10hosting.com/control/login.php

if you forget your credentials you can say i forgot my password and you can send your credentials to your email.

Edit: It may not be because of your password and username but if you are on firs you cannot log on at the moment.

All that let me do is change my password which I already know. I read that my cpanel credentials should have been emailed to me which they were not (only my hosting account's were). When I tried to login to cpanel yesterday it autofilled the username form for me, but today it didn't and I can't remember what it was (I believe it started with an 'a'?).

Like is said this may be to do with fris.

I see you are already logged on. Go to x10hosting.com/control/? and you can view your cpanel username. This is if you are already logged on. It will have your forum username and right above that your cpanel username.

It doesn't display my cpanel username. It only displays my forum and free hosting usernames.

EDIT: I'm about ready to make a new account, but I don't have the files from the file manager backed up.

your freehosting is your cpanel username i believe. well for me it is. Try that

I tried that and my forum username and neither of them worked.

Okay at this moment i am now assuming it is to do with fris server. It should be back up in a few days. From what i know the free hosting account username is your cpanel username when you sign up so if that does not work that i am 99.99% sure it is to do with fris.

depending on your server it could also be to do with the absolut server as well but i assume it is fris.

Think positive. when the servers are back up they will be faster and run more smoothly :biggrin: Plus playing games are fun, maybe not that game though :biggrin:

EDIT: i just thought of something you can do. try your email for your username on the login. I use that too and it works.
