  • ns2.co.cc returned (SERVFAIL)
  • ns1.co.cc returned (SERVFAIL)
Thats what I'm getting back from OpenDNS;

http://forums.x10hosting.com/tutorials/57334-get-you-co-cc-domain-work-your-x10hosting-account.html

Judging by that tutorial, you've got your nameservers incorrect - they should be ns1.x10hosting.com and ns2.x10hosting.com.

If this is a recent change, wait up to 72 hours - DNS can take up to 3 days to propagate over all ISP's across the world, and until it updates, it won't point to x10.

From what I'm seeing though, the co.cc domain isn't pointing at x10 correctly, OR it's also possible co.cc themselves are having problems. I'm thinking the first, since that tutorial indicates it -should- be either loading the site, or telling me ns1.x10hosting.com and ns2.x10hosting.com are having some form of problem.

I do need to point out that I'm not entirely sure how co.cc domains work, nor am I certain that actually is what's causing the problem. Thankfully this is community/unofficial support, so if this isn't the problem, there's a good chance someone else can find the real one.

If all else fails, file a ticket at http://support.x10hosting.com , but make sure the problem is actually on x10's side first - if it's not, there's not a lot the staff can do to fix it, other than give you the directions in that tutorial to try it that way.

did you submit a support ticket as these are the community forums so there is a limited amount that any of us can do. The admins pay more attention to http://support.x10hosting.com/ as that is now considered official support.
