Hello Community,

I set up a new forum a few hours ago, everything is working well except email sending (Forum password Retrieve).

I tried to configure it by different ways and my conclucion is that the x10hosting is blocking the email sending.

When i configure smtp setting swrong, the log will show it, doing it the correct way, it does not show any error but the email is not sent.

Thanks!

External SMTP is disabled on Free Hosting accounts; all mail must be sent from an email account that actually exists on your hosting account and must go through x10Hosting's outbound mail server (for spam checks, etc.).

I started using a gmail but as soon as I saw that the external SMTP was disabled I did it with the following account obtaining the same result: foro@clanreg.x10hosting.com

for one thing - [ foro@clanreg.x10hosting.com ] should be [ foro@clanreg.x10host.com ]

(note: how this forum makes a error - setting the Email link)

Yes, my fault. It's set correctly on the panel and no errors in the log. It seems to happen something with email server config.

Can you PM me an email address that the email should have arrived at but didn't? We can review the logs to see what happened to it.

I looked up your user, I see 58 emails sent total, none of them were stopped by our systems.

The latest one sent yesterday to the email you gave shows Google accepted it from our mail server. Did you check your spam folder?
