Free Account....How do I backup the site?

I searched and saw threads about backing up your sites but they all said to hit the backup button in Cpanel.......I do not have a backup button in Cpanel so how the heck do I backup my site? LoL


I can't find anything that says I can generate a backup file and save it on my computer :dunno:

i took a look at this and at the moment there only seems to be a R1 soft restore backup, there used to be more there but i don t know what the plans on that is at the moment to be honest

this looks to me like an online backup system

if you really need to have the files downloaded you might want to try ftp

The backup feature was removed in cPanel a month or 2 back unfortunately - probably to reduce the resources used.

You'll need to do this manually now, using the filemanager & database managers in cPanel, or using FTP etc.
