Free hosting more often down

I realized that most of the time my free hosting server is sometimes down. Would this happen if I pay for hosting at x10hosting, or are the same servers used for free and paid? and if free server goes down then paid goes down? any help plz

Paid accounts are on separate, more stable servers. Paid accounts are not on the same servers as the free accounts.

Also I have a script running keeping tabs on the servers. All paid servers have a 99.5% + uptime. Where as free servers have a +- 99% uptime.
