Free Hosting Server Updates

We will be upgrading the kernel and all software on our free hosting servers this evening. This will require a reboot and approx 5-15 minutes of downtime. We are planning for midnight EST.

This is primarily to resolve these issues:
* Quotas not working properly and reporting disk full messages
* Fix a bug with cPanel file manager not working and some browsers, specifically on chrome
* Resolve an issue with our backup system
* Added checks in cPanel for addon\parked domain issues

Is this the reason the database server is offline atm? And is there any ETA on when it'll be online again? I tried checking the status page linked above, but it seems to be down as well ("connection was reset" error). It also has been down for more than 15 minutes now, so that's why I'm asking. I hope you haven't run into any large issues.

MySQL is also down. Nothing visibly wrong my end.

Getting following: Database connection error (3): Could not connect to database

Have databases been effected?

Is this why my browser "can't establish a connection to the server at starka.x10hosting.com:2083"?

I am getting the error...

Most issues are resolved... we're working on fixing cPanel on Lotus currently. Besides that everything else should be set.
