The support tickets here are a joke!

I submitted a ticket requesting info on the GD library, and waited patiently for a reply. (I know, a backlog of tickets.)

Here is the reply I finally received.
You may need to wait for the PHP system to be implemented again, then request intermediate PHP.

I replied back to the ticket asking how long I should expect to wait.

There was no reply and the ticket was closed.

When I find a new free host that respects it's users, I'm outta here.

When was it closed?

If you read the announcements section and look at the thread titled "Support Center".

Just got information through anyhow depending on what information you're after?? ......

The PHP system is not currently implemented. I'm going to recompile PHP on all free servers to 5.2.9 and set the default to intermediate for now. The panel will say they have Basic or PHP 1 but they'll actually be using the PHPv2 binary. I hope to finish by the end of the week.

GD will be enabled in all versions of PHP when I recompile.

I've had good experiences with the support, the few (3) times I've needed to use it. Obviously the response times are not as fast as paid hosting, but not bad: < 1 day.

if you want "good" support....pay for a host. that's my .02
