It seemed to be working fine earlier, abruptly got temporarily unavailable & occasionally faulty connection

Yeah, earlier today my site was working fine again, and then it's back to how it was before (broken). I don't mind it being down for a while if that means better servers Well, as long as it can be fixed in a reasonable amount of time. Thanks for keeping us updated!
