Free Software Poll Suggestions. I'd like some feedback.

I've been mapping this out in my head for a while and I want to know what the posters of this forum think of my suggestion. If I get a positive response I'll go ahead and start it up but if people do not think it's a good idea then I'll let it die here.


Seeing the "Free Software" thread is just a list of all kinds of programs I found it hard to actually pick what the best one is.

Anyway, each week/month (time undecided) I'll select a program category from the "free software" thread. I'll add the programs to a poll and you guys will vote on your favorite.

Once the pollings over the one with the most votes will get the Reader's Choice Award (Or whatever it's called) and the 2 runner ups will get silver and bronze awards.

Anyway, I'd like some suggestions and comments.

Ok, I'm pretty sure yes is going to be the trend. I'm unstickying this and closing it and going to start the first thread soon.
