free sub domain or main domain redirects to x10hosting front page

http://ttb.x10hosting.com redirects to x10hosting front page.

http://www.ttb.x10hosting.com goes to document root (public_html).

Is this how x10hosting wants it? Seems to me both should go to document root (public_html). dns zone look correct in advanced dnszone. Is there something I'm missing? Or an issue with the account. Just created last nite.

I doubt that you got that free sub domain. Maybe .x10host.com

Well free hosting. with a sub domain ttb.x10hosting.com as the main domain. It should still go to document root (public_html). It redirects to x10hosting.com. www.ttb.x10hosting.com goes to document root.

x10hosting.com is a domain
ttb.x10hosting.com is a sub domian

Your subdomain is ttb.x10host.com

They no longer issue x10hosting.com subdomains.

Thanks for all the good information. Still does not answer why http://ttb.x10hosting.com redirects to https://www.x10hosting.com/. Or why https://ttb.x10hosting.com goes http://www.ttb.x10hosting.com.

when http is used the browser is redirected to https://www.x10hosting.com/. Why? There is nothing a user can do to correct this. Is that why its free? Does not look good for premium hosting. Am I just wasting every ones time using x10hosting free?

Your website can only be accessed from the .x10host.com subdomain, not on .x10hosting.com. ;)

Do you see your website at http://ttb.x10host.com/ ?

I just got done clearing cache and several time earlier, and forgot all about flushing DNS. Sometimes I'm dumber then a box of rocks. Going to flush DNS now.

No now both www.ttb and ttb. redirect. I'll give propagation more time and clear and flush again later. Both browsers doing same. Maybe time will help.

God i am stupid. my apologies descalzo, Dead-i, and bdistler. I have some sort of reading disability. I see it now. it is x10host. Not x10hosting. I don't think i should show my face around the forums anymore. I know you guys are thinking what a dweeb this guy is. Thanks for the help.
