I need to change the FTP account of my free service in order to upload new content to the site due that I forgot the current one, but when I access to the FTP account manager besides that I can not see any of them I have the following message:

Warning:
You are currently using the maximum number of FTP Accounts. If you need more please contact your service provider.

I tried to use the Support link on the top of the page but is not working neither...

Can somebody from x10Hosting help me, please? :(

Hi jabalies,

I took a look at this, and it appears that cPanel is currently failing to modify its FTP configuration file. This is because your account has exceeded the inode limit (files, directories and emails) of 50,000. Your account currently has approximately 57,000 files stored in total, which is why the FTP issue is arising. Please could you try clearing some unneeded files and let me know how it goes? :)

Also, don't forget that you can access FTP without creating an FTP account in cPanel. All accounts automatically have a special FTP account created, which grants full access to your files. The credentials of this FTP account are exactly the same as your cPanel login credentials. ;)

Thank you,
