ftp doesn't connect

Does x10hosting allow ftp generated from frontpage?

I don't see why not. I've used notepad++ for ftp and it works great

I'd say double check all the FTP settings and post back if you have no better luck.

I can't get my files uploaded to ......./public_html from frontpage.

I have set my ftp account typing in the Directory: box

public_html
/public_html
/home/possum/public/html

All three of which put my files into the home directory

Next I tried:

public_html/possum which came up ith inknown WinInet error code 12110

I am not sure where I am going wrong

I've used FileZilla to upload my files. the directory I use is '/public_html' (without the quotes).

You may want to test with a regular FTP client like FileZilla just to see what settings you want (or need)
