FTP getting 550 error directory not found

Hi,
I am trying to connect to an add-on domain ,with FTP from Dreamweaver.
I [obviously] think I have got the :

FTP Host
Host Directory
Login
Password

correct, and i can see the items on CP Panel. Obviously I have made a dumb mistake!
Whenever I run the test I get the message:
Host Found
then..
FTP error occurred cannot open remote folder
xxxx
550 Cannot change directory to:
xxxxx No such file or directory

Can anyone please suggest what I should work on to correct this please?

My FTP server has been down now for 3 days. This is all part of the upgrade. It seems to be a pain right now but I'm being patient and hope that things will improve in the next week. I'm still waiting for a PHP upgrade and getting that working. As I'm using a "free" service I don't really feel that I have too much to complain about. Happy Holidays and I am sure they will get things cleaned up soon. :biggthump

Hi pstitch,
My FTP server is up, and I am making connections but getting slung off. I can, at Sunil's `suggestion, get through with Filezilla.

I guess I have some setting wrong.
