FTP Login Error (530)

Hi community member i am new to x10. my account has been activated yesterday. i can able to log into cpanel but the thing is i can't able to login to my default FTP account of new ftp account created by me from cpanel.

I am using ws-ftp client for FTP and i am getting the error as follows

530 login authentication failed
!Logon failure, so quiting.


Can somebody help to resolve this problem.

FTP Info is as follows:
hostname: Your website address minus the http:// part, i.e. russ.x10hosting.com
login and password is the exact same as your cPanel login and password.. if that don't work, create a support ticket at http://support.x10hosting.com so that staff can handle it.

why is it when i try to upload anything to x10 its slower than piss! damnit im beyond pissed right now pushing 3hrs to get 1.78 megs uploaded this is ludacris! what is the deal here? this just started today not to mention my forums tanking before this (trying to fix it but cant due to ftp being super slow)

sorry for being a tad bit frustrated but still no luck with the ftp and seems my forums are toast

hope the ftp problem resolves soon id like to try to recover what i can

I'm pretty sure there's nothing wrong with FTP right now. Are you using an extremely slow internet connection (like dial-up), or is your internet service provider experiencing unusually high bandwidth demands?
